Claudia Snell :: Bio (The formal one)

Claudia is a Freelance Digital Media Producer based in Worcester, MA. During her career, she has worked on projects in a variety industries including: media, high tech, academic, insurance, online advertising and marketing.

While working at the Worcester Telegram & Gazette, Claudia created content for and helped maintain the telegram.com web site. She also worked at WBZ-TV in Boston supporting sales and promotional efforts on wbztv.com and tv38.com. Other projects have included working as a contractor for The MathWorks, Hewlett Packard and Allmerica (Hanover Ins.).

In addition to full-time employment and contract work, Claudia has done freelance projects for colleges, small businesses, musicians and producers. She has also volunteered her services on projects for several Worcester-based non-profits.

Claudia is a published author and has written articles for Adobe, 'The Edge' and other industry newsletters. She has also been a guest speaker on topics related to web, multimedia design and blogging.

She holds a Graphic Design Certifcate from Assumption College. She is also a Macromedia Certified Flash Designer. She continues to pursue new skills such as the use of social networking and blogging.

In addition to the digital media work she writes, paints, reads, photographs stuff, drinks tons of coffee and eats lots of chocolate. She is owned by a small angry cat and a larger, very hungry cat.

Whew! Glad all that stuffy sounding crud is out of the way. If you want a less stuffy sounding version, I keep a blog called 'I'm From Worcester'. It's a bunch of pictures and other stuff about why I like living in Worcester, MA. I'm also active on Facebook, MySpace, Flickr, YouTube, Twitter and LinkedIn - look me up.
